Terms of Service
Last updated: September 30, 2026
These terms cover how engagements work: what's included in each service, how and when you pay, what happens if you want to stop, who owns the work, and the limits of liability. Everything important is also confirmed in writing before any project starts.
1. Services
I provide freelance digital marketing services: SEO, local SEO, website design and development, tool-based website development, PPC lead-generation websites, Google Ads management, link building, and premium article publishing. The exact scope, deliverables, and timeline for your project are defined in a written proposal or agreement before work begins — that document, not this page, is what governs your specific engagement.
I work as an independent freelancer, not as your employee or agent. I may use trusted subcontractors for specialized tasks (such as content writing), but I remain responsible for the quality of everything delivered under my name.
2. Payments
Monthly services are invoiced in advance and run month to month after an initial 3-month commitment. One-time projects (websites, tools, publishing packs) require 50% upfront with the balance due on delivery. Prices are confirmed in writing before work starts; the pricing on each service page is the current public rate. Late payments may pause active work until the balance is settled.
3. Refunds and cancellation
Because this is service work — hours and expertise, not a physical product — refunds are handled fairly and case by case. Monthly retainers can be cancelled with 30 days' notice; work already performed is not refundable. For one-time projects, the upfront deposit covers planning and reserved time and is non-refundable once work has started; if I have not yet started, the deposit is refundable in full. If I ever fail to deliver what was agreed, I'll make it right or refund the undelivered portion — that's the deal.
4. Intellectual property
Once your final payment is received, you own everything I create for you: website code, content, reports, and strategies. Until then, ownership transfers on final payment. I retain the right to describe the engagement in general terms (industry, scope, results) for my portfolio and case studies, without revealing confidential business details unless you've approved it.
5. Honest expectations
I do not guarantee specific rankings, traffic numbers, or revenue outcomes — no honest SEO consultant can, because search engines are third parties I don't control. What I do guarantee is senior-level work, transparent reporting, white-hat methods only, and honest communication about what's working and what isn't.
6. Liability
My total liability for any engagement is limited to the fees you paid for that engagement. I'm not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits, nor for actions of third parties (search engines, ad platforms, hosting providers). You are responsible for the accuracy of the business information, access credentials, and content you provide.
7. Termination
Either party may end a monthly engagement with 30 days' written notice. Either party may end a one-time project with written notice; you'll be invoiced for work completed to that point per the agreed terms. I'll hand over all completed work and documentation on termination once outstanding balances are settled.
