Website Design & Development Built to Rank
I'm Syed Asif, an SEO Consultant & Digital Marketing Freelancer. Most websites are designed first and "SEO'd" later — which is backwards. I design and hand-code websites where SEO is baked in from the first wireframe: fast, mobile-first, conversion-focused, and ready to rank from day one.
I design and build fast, conversion-focused websites where SEO is baked in from the first wireframe — clean semantic code, Core Web Vitals in the green, on-page optimization, and schema markup on every page. You launch with a site that loads fast, converts visitors, and is ready to rank from day one.
What's Built Into Every Site
A pretty site that loads in 6 seconds and can't be crawled is a liability, not an asset. Every site I build ships with the technical and conversion foundations that most designers never think about.
Core Web Vitals in the Green
Speed is a ranking factor and a conversion factor. I hand-code lean pages — no page-builder bloat, optimized images, minimal JavaScript — targeting green scores on LCP, INP, and CLS before launch.
Mobile-First Design
Over 60% of your visitors are on phones. I design mobile-first — thumb-friendly CTAs, readable type, tap-to-call — then scale up to desktop. Google indexes the mobile version; so do I.
On-Page SEO Baked In
Every page launches with optimized titles, meta descriptions, heading hierarchy, image alts, and internal linking — the same on-page standard I apply in my freelance SEO services. No "SEO phase" needed after launch.
CRO Copy Structure
Traffic without conversions is vanity. I structure pages around conversion: clear value proposition above the fold, trust signals, objection handling, and one obvious next step on every screen.
Schema Markup
Organization, LocalBusiness, FAQ, and Article schema where relevant — helping Google understand your pages and qualify them for rich results. Structured data is also the foundation for being cited in AI search: Answer Engine Optimization (AEO) and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) start with clean markup.
Launch-Ready Speed
Compressed assets, lazy loading, font optimization, and clean hosting guidance. I test on real devices and real connections — not just my fiber line — before anything goes live.
Why I Hand-Code Instead of Using Page Builders
Page builders (Elementor, Divi, Wix-style editors) are fast to launch and slow forever after. They inject hundreds of kilobytes of CSS and JavaScript you didn't ask for, nest divs ten levels deep, and turn Core Web Vitals into a fight instead of a given. I've audited dozens of builder sites stuck on red scores with no clean fix — the bloat is architectural, not cosmetic.
Hand-coded HTML and CSS gives you the opposite: exactly the code your design needs, nothing more. Typical results: pages under 100KB, sub-second loads on 4G, and green Core Web Vitals without caching plugins or optimization gymnastics. Google's crawlers get clean semantic markup. Your visitors get instant pages. And you get a site with no plugin-update treadmill, no security-patch panic, and no monthly builder license.
The trade-off is real: you can't drag-and-drop redesign it yourself on a Sunday afternoon. For most businesses that's a feature, not a bug — you get a maintenance plan with me instead, and the site stays fast because nobody's installing seventeen plugins. If you need a blog you can update yourself, I wire in a lightweight editing setup that's actually usable without a developer.
What about hosting? I keep it simple: static hosting on a global CDN — fast, secure, and often free at small scale. No server to maintain, no PHP to patch. I handle deployment and DNS, and hand you documented access to everything. Your site stays up because there's almost nothing that can break.
Bottom line: builders optimize for the designer's convenience. I optimize for your visitors, your conversions, and your rankings. Run any builder site through PageSpeed Insights and you'll see exactly why this choice matters.
The Build Process
Four phases. You approve each one before we move on. No surprises at launch.
Discover & Plan
We map your goals, audience, competitors, and keyword targets. You get a sitemap and wireframe plan showing exactly what gets built and why each page exists.
Design
Clean, modern design matched to your brand — built mobile-first. You review real page designs, not abstract mockups, and we iterate until it feels right.
Build & Optimize
Hand-coded development with on-page SEO, schema, speed optimization, and conversion structure baked in. Tested across devices and browsers.
Launch & Handover
Final QA crawl, analytics and Search Console setup, launch checklist, and a handover doc so you know how everything works. Then we monitor the first 30 days.

A Website Is a Business Asset, Not a Brochure
Every build is judged on three numbers: load speed, conversion rate, and organic visibility after 90 days. I track all three post-launch and fix what's underperforming in the first 30 days free. Real client outcomes are published on the Results page as they're cleared for sharing — no mockups presented as results.
Web Design FAQs
Straight answers, no sales talk.
A single landing page takes 5–7 days. A full business site (up to 8 pages) takes 2–3 weeks. Custom builds with tools or booking systems take 3–5 weeks. The timeline depends mostly on how fast content and feedback come back from your side — I build in weekly sprints so you always see progress.
It will be built to rank: clean semantic code, fast Core Web Vitals, proper heading structure, meta tags, image optimization, XML sitemap, and schema markup on every page. That's the foundation rankings need. Actual rankings still require ongoing SEO — content and links — which is why many clients pair a new site with my monthly SEO services.
Yes, and I do it without torching your rankings. My redesign process includes a full URL inventory, 301 redirect mapping for every changed URL, content migration with on-page SEO preserved, and a post-launch crawl to catch broken links and indexation issues. A redesign done wrong can wipe out years of SEO — mine is built to protect it.
I hand-code with clean HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — no bloated page builders, no plugin soup. The result: sub-second load times, full control over SEO markup, and zero ongoing plugin maintenance. If you need a CMS for blogging, I set up a lightweight setup you can actually use without a developer.
I structure and optimize all on-page copy for search and conversions — headlines, meta descriptions, and section flow. For full page copywriting, I offer it as an add-on, or I can work from your draft and rewrite it for SEO and conversion. Either way, no page goes live with placeholder text.
Yes. After launch you can add a maintenance plan covering updates, backups, uptime monitoring, small content changes, and quarterly SEO health checks. Hand-coded sites need far less maintenance than WordPress builds, but having me on call means you never touch code yourself.
